After a two-week stay in the hospital as a teenager wrapped in care and compassion from the medical team, Grace Edmond had her heart set on a career that would make a positive difference for others.

For over five years, Grace was part of the FCS team, providing care to homebound clients as she juggled working on a nursing degree, studying for the Board of Nursing Exam, NCLEX, and volunteering at her church.

It wasn’t easy, but with support from her family and colleagues, Grace persevered. She earned as associate degree in Applied Science and Nursing from Brookdale Community College in 2018, and in November 2021, passed the NCLEX, becoming a licensed registered nurse.

Grace was recently accepted into a residency program in home health nursing and is on her way to making an even deeper impact in home health care.

She credits FCS for supporting her in achieving her professional goals. “FCS is a great company to work for. They are kind people to clients and to employees,” she said.

“Your dreams and your goals are worth the focus and the hard work,” she added. “Even if you have to wait, prepare while you wait.”

We wish Grace all the best in her new role and thank her for dedicated service.
